This policy explains how Agrilink Empowerment Network (ALEN) uses cookies on agrilinkafrica.org, and the choices you have about them. It should be read alongside ourPrivacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website can place on your device when you visit it. They're widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the site owner. Cookies can't run programs or carry viruses, and can't access other information on your device.
How we use cookies
We keep cookie use on this site to a minimum. We don't run advertising or social-media tracking cookies. The cookies we do set come from two sources: the Google Map embedded on ourContact page, and Google Analytics, which we use to understand how visitors use the site.

If we add donation processing or other new tools that set cookies in the future, we'll update this table.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see roughly how many people visit the site, which pages they read, and how they found us: aggregated patterns, not individual browsing profiles. We haven't enabled Google's advertising or personalisation features, and analytics data isn't combined with anything you submit through our contact or partnership forms. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites usingGoogle's browser add-on, or block the cookies directly using your browser's settings below.
Third-party embedded content
Our Contact page embeds a Google Map. Google may set cookies through this embed to operate the map and for its own purposes, independent of ALEN. We don't control these cookies. SeeGoogle's cookie policyfor details.
Your choices
Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings, including blocking or deleting them:
Blocking analytics cookies won't affect how the site works. Blocking the cookie used by our Google Maps embed may stop the map on our Contact page from loading. Our address and phone number are also listed as plain text on that page, so this won't stop you from reaching us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the tools we use on the site change. Updates will be posted here with a revised date above.
